Stories of Survival   Words of Hope

Behind every closed door is a story

Red Rose Close-Up

I wrote Behind Closed Doors for anyone who has survived what other's couldn't see.

For the nights that felt endless. For the pieces we thought we'd never find.

And the hope that whispers -
you are not alone..

Behind Closed Doors

Red Rose Close-Up

The darkest chapters of our lives don't define the ending

Sometimes they become the reason someone else finds the courage to keep turning the page.

A story that was lived in silence

A story that finally found its voice

Behind Closed Doors is my raw and deeply personal memoir of abuse, survival, and breaking the silence.

For years, so much of what happened behind closed doors remained exactly where it had been hidden, unseen, unspoken, and misunderstood.

Writing this book became a way of reclaiming my voice and making sense of a journey that changed me in ways I never could have imagined.

This is not simply a story about what happened to me. It is about survival. About finding strength in the places where you thought you had none. And about discovering that the person you lost beneath the chaos can still be found.

If you have ever felt trapped behind someone else's version of you, this story may speak to you.

The Archive

A Collection of Words, Stories & Reflections

Not everything belongs in the present moment.

The Archive is a collection of my writing — stories, reflections, observations and pieces that have found their way onto the page along the journey.

Some were written from experience. Others began as a thought, a question or an image that refused to be forgotten.

Here you can wander through the words at your own pace. Some may challenge you. Some may make you think. Others may simply remind you that you are not alone in the things you carry.

The collection will continue to grow, one story at a time.

The Fox and The Hunter

A story about instinct, survival and the dangerous dance between the hunter and the hunted.

We often find it easier to recognise cruelty when we see it through the eyes of an animal. The fox runs, the hunter pursues, and instinct tells us immediately who we want to protect.

But what happens when the fox is human?

The Fox and the Hunter explores the dynamics of narcissistic abuse through metaphor — the charm of the hunter, the vulnerability of the fox, and the gradual erosion of trust that can leave someone questioning their own instincts.

Sometimes the most dangerous predators don't arrive looking like predators.

Sometimes, they arrive with a welcoming smile.

Running Up That Hill: The Impossible Wish to be Understood

What if the hill you're struggling to climb isn't there to punish you, but to change you?

Inspired by Kate Bush's haunting song Running Up That Hill, this reflection explores the long and difficult journey from survival towards freedom. Sometimes we have to climb through the places that frightened us, face what we've spent years running from, and discover that the person waiting at the top is someone we have been searching for all along — ourselves.

A reflection on adversity, transformation, and the courage it takes to keep climbing.
